College of Veterinary - Tikrit University

The veterinary medicine college was established on 2006, depending on specifics and high quality standards to graduate qualified veterinians. Recently 221 undergraduate students are admitted in the college, the number is expected to increase in near future, and the college is planning to have two new buildings. The college has six (6) branches, also has fourteen (14) laboratories in different fields of scientific subjects.
The college offers many services beside regular academic programs, it is a supported academic institution for research, it provides many public services including information services for animals' treatment, technical advice in the field of veterinary medicine and public lectures, continuous learning and conferences.
